These days i use 9.0 something on a 12 core mac pro, and dont find there is anything in the real world that im missing. This might allow less experienced users the ability to operate software at the level of their proficiency. I wonder if within the software there was an option for 3 user modes.Ģ. Regarding the various incarnations of cubase over the years i agree that V 5.0 is very easy for people to get their heads around, and there is a lot to be said for something thats easy to operate. I used to lock the midex to Studer 24 track every day for 6 years, and it was rock solid. Really though, I'm getting on well with 9.5.yes and the 2.0 crack on atari was also ok, but the 3.1 with the fat dongle was better.

I'm currently using Cubase 8 Pro and will be staying here, no plans for version 9.Ĭubase 3.1 on the Atari, with the MIDEX+ SMPTE expander. Maybe a 3rd party wrapper works ok dunno. I would personally not use Cubase LITE version 9, as version 9 does not allow you to run 32 bit plug-ins, while version 8 does. But if it is just a cost factor only, I'd choose a LITE (cheap) more current version of a DAW sofwtare. is it the cost? Is it to be compatible with older hardware? Something else? I use a lot of legacy hardware, so this keeps me from seeking out say buying an interface that will require Win 10 etc. I'm not sure what the main objective is for a desire for legacy DAW software.
#Cubase sx2 vs cubase elements 9 64 Bit
The two were seemingly the same anyway to me (I'm not a power user though), aside from being there's no 64 bit for SX3. Personally if I was on a 32 bit computer, and wanted legacy DAW software, I'd use Cubase SX 3. I've been a Cubase user since Cubase VST 5/32, and I haven't use any other DAW in years so I can't comment on things like Reaper, although I've heard goood things about it.
